One&Only Moonlight Basin, a luxury resort located in Montana, United States, is the most expensive hotel in the world, a new survey by Luxury-Hotels.com has revealed.

The survey compared luxury hotels globally based on their cheapest available double room. Only properties with a minimum of 10 guest rooms were considered for the survey.

At a minimum nightly rate of $13,913, One&Only Moonlight Basin leads the ranking, offering unparalleled luxury and high-end services in the heart of Montana.

Coming in second and third are the Stein Eriksen Residences in Utah, United States, and Maison Hudson in New York State, United States, with minimum nightly rates of $7,660 and $6,506, respectively.

The United States dominates the top of the list, holding the first three positions, while other luxury destinations across Europe, Asia, and the Pacific also make the top rankings.
